WILMINGTON, Del. — Following the Delaware Coalition for Open Government (DelCOG) calling on Attorney General Kathy Jennings to investigate Delaware-registered business entities named in the Epstein files, civil rights attorney and candidate for Delaware Attorney General Dwayne Bensing released the following statement:
“You shouldn’t have to call on elected officials to use existing authorities to protect children and hold perpetrators accountable. The crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein shock the conscience, and publicly available information has shown that even Delaware isn’t immune from his web of crimes.
“For far too long, the establishment—including Attorney General Jennings—has turned a blind eye to the abuses occurring in our own backyard. Fighting the Epstein Class needs to happen right here in the First State, and I’d guarantee it as Attorney General.”
On May 28, 2026, DelCOG sent a letter to Jennings requesting an investigation into possible violations of the Delaware Code and Delaware Corporate Law by Delaware-registered business entities named in the Epstein files, as well as affiliated individuals. DelCOG also requested Jennings use existing authority to protect interests of children through power of subpoena and collection of evidence, bringing appropriate charges if warranted and supported by the rule of law.
