DelPHR Endorses Dwayne Bensing for Delaware Attorney General

We are thrilled to share that Delawareans for Palestinian Human Rights (DelPHR) has officially endorsed Dwayne Bensing in his historic run for Delaware Attorney General!

While endorsements aren't the norm for DelPHR, Dwayne’s exceptional integrity, vision, and legal background—including his long-standing role as Legal Director at the ACLU of Delaware—make him an extraordinary candidate. DelPHR’s leadership sat down with Dwayne to discuss his vision for the state, and they were, in a word, wowed.

Dwayne’s platform is built on three crucial pillars that Delaware desperately needs right now:

• Corporate Accountability: Ensuring Delaware's corporate system does not place entities above the law.
• True Representation: Serving as an independent representative of the people who elect him, not a default shield for government institutions.
• Civil Rights at the Core: A fierce commitment to protecting and promoting civil liberties, including the rights of peaceful pro-Palestinian protesters and investigating corporate human rights abuses.

At a time when the current Attorney General's office has remained unresponsive to community demands for corporate and human rights investigations, Dwayne offers a refreshing path forward. He is a candidate who will prioritize justice, hold bad actors accountable, and stand up for human rights both at home and abroad.

It is time to pass the torch to an AG who is independent of the political machine.
